Arthur Samier (b. 2000, France) is a photographer exploring intimacy, desire, youth, and the fleeting connections that shape life at night. Working primarily on film, he photographs the people, places, and encounters that surround him, seeking to capture moments of closeness, spontaneity, and tenderness.
Samier began working professionally as a photographer in 2020 and has contributed to publications including VOGUE ITALIA, DAZED, GQ France, EXHIBITION MAGAZINE, COLD MAGAZINE, UNPRINT Magazine, Like Fire, and Sky Blue Review.
His first monograph, Choose Love, was published in 2026 by Patrick Rémy Studio. Made over three years, the book brings together photographs made at night and examines love, desire, friendship, and intimacy through a succession of encounters. Rather than presenting a linear narrative, Choose Love reflects the fluidity of contemporary relationships and the emotional intensity of nocturnal life.
